My Everyday Life at Insect Academy 2.0!!!

Howdy y'all, it's been a bit!

We had a lot of fun making this game for the 2023 Texas Game Jam, but with time constraints and this being our first game, never had time to polish it the way we would have liked. When we heard about the 2025 Queer Games Bundle, we decided to come back and spruce things up a bit :)

Here's a quick run down of what's new!

• Fixed all known bugs/crashes!
• Redesigned the protagonist! Thank you D.T. the fly, but now it's a beetle's time to shine. Speaking of...
• A renameable protagonist! Her name is Beatrice by default. They use she/they pronouns which (currently) cannot be cahnged.
• A (small) new ending! A variation on one of the good endings. It is a small and niche outcome, but I would say we now have 3.5 good, 3 neutral, and 3 bad endings.
• A redesigned main menu!
  
• New sounds/music!
• Slight tweaks to the dialogue!
• An official Linux build of the game!

It is a sizable start, but we do intend to polish it up more. Look forward to D.T.'s return as a possible NPC, as well as more custom art, and more routes to explore, hopefully coming out over the course of this summer :D
